Why would a client choose IV vitamin therapy?Don't let vitamin insufficiency compromise your quality of life. Symptoms such as depressed mood, anxiety, fatigue, muscle aching, neuropathy, and brain fog can all be linked to a lack of essential vitamins. Unfortunately, many doctors are not trained in nutrition and vitamin support therapy, leading to overlooked causes. Did you know that there are 13 essential vitamins, including four fat-soluble (D, E, K, and A) and nine water-soluble (including 8 essential B vitamins and C)? While the recommended daily allowances represent the minimum needed to avoid disease, they may not be the best amount for optimal health. IV vitamin infusions offer a direct and effective way to deliver high doses of vital nutrients straight to your cells, especially for those with impaired absorption due to conditions like irritable bowel, leaky gut, or medication use. At Drip Wellness, we've helped clients combat everything from the common cold to fibromyalgia with our IV vitamin support. Whether you have a specific condition or simply want to maintain your health, contact us today to learn more about how we can help you. 💪

Isn't it true that the body simply flushes out water-soluble vitamins?Water-soluble vitamins are unique in that they dissolve in water and are easily excreted from the body, making it difficult to consume harmful amounts. However, their water solubility does not mean their impact on cellular health is short-lived. When administered in high doses via intravenous infusion, the vitamins flood the plasma and create an osmotic gradient that drives them into the cells. This enables the micronutrients to have a restorative effect at the cellular level, which can last as long as the cells themselves. Cell lifespan varies from several days for gastrointestinal cells to several months or even years for other cells. Thus, intermittent infusion of high-dose water-soluble vitamins can have a long-lasting impact. In cases where malabsorption is a problem, intravenous administration may be the only way to break negative cycles of unhealthy cell reproduction. Once healthy cell reproduction patterns are established, they are easier to maintain.

How can high dose vitamin C help me if I have cancer? For many decades, intravenous vitamin C has been utilized to help combat cancer. Unlike oral vitamin C, which functions as an antioxidant, intravenous vitamin C is a pro-oxidant that kills cancer cells. It produces hydrogen peroxide in the region of the cells, which is toxic to cancer cells but harmless to healthy cells. Moreover, vitamin C is believed to increase the amount of collagen produced throughout the body, which creates barriers that make it more difficult for the cancer to spread. Vitamin C is incredibly safe, and serious complications are uncommon. The infusion usually takes up to 2 hours to complete once it has been started.

What is the reason for the initial limit of 10G of vitamin C infusion? For most individuals, high-dose vitamin C up to 10,000 mg provides significant benefits. However, in situations where higher doses are necessary, a G6PD lab test must be conducted beforehand to ensure that the individual can effectively metabolize super high doses of vitamin C.

Why not just take vitamins by mouth?Maintaining optimal health and preventing aging can be achieved through healthy eating habits and supplementation. However, simply taking oral supplements may not always suffice. This is because the absorption of certain vitamins relies on cofactors and a healthy balance of gut bacteria, which can be disrupted by medication and antibiotics. Moreover, the liver may impede the delivery of micronutrients to targeted cells when ingested orally. Prescription drugs and antibiotics can exacerbate oral absorption issues. For instance, proton pump inhibitors can interfere with the digestive process and disrupt the bacterial health of the colon. In Western cultures, many people suffer from chronic malabsorption syndromes due to consuming highly processed, inflammatory foods. Symptoms such as bloating, heartburn, and irregular bowel movements may indicate underlying malabsorption. Paradoxically, malabsorption can make it more difficult for the gastrointestinal tract to heal itself because it hinders the absorption of micronutrients. This can trigger prolonged cycles of malabsorption or micronutrient deficiency, leading to the production of unhealthy cells and perpetuating the malabsorption. Over time, this cycle can result in various medical conditions such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, heart disease, cancer, and cognitive impairment.

Where do you get your ingredients? At Drip Wellness, we take great care to ensure that we use only the safest and highest quality ingredients in our IV infusions. All of our ingredients are sourced exclusively from FDA-approved 503B facilities, which adhere to the most stringent manufacturing standards, including full current good manufacturing practice (CGMP) compliance.

Where do you mix your vitamins? The United States Pharmacopeia describes the guidelines, procedures, and compliance requirements for compounding sterile preparations and sets the standards that apply to all settings in which sterile preparations are compounded. Drip Wellness has spent over 100+ hours training and maintaining compliance with these procedures. We exclusively work with 503B compounding pharmacies, and before any new product is introduced to the market, multiple batches are manufactured and subjected to testing and stability studies. Although this may lead to longer lead times in delivering new products to customers, it guarantees that all batches produced during regular manufacturing operations conform to the FDA and CGMP's high-quality standards. Validation of products and testing methods is mandatory to ensure accuracy and precision in accordance with USP guidelines. All suppliers of raw materials must undergo thorough vetting, and the Quality Assurance team conducts on-site inspections of all crucial suppliers. All of our IV infusions are blended in a Pharmacy Compounding Aseptic Isolator, creating an ISO Class 5 positive-pressure clean air-controlled environment specifically for aseptic compounding of non-hazardous medications. The HEPA-filtered workspace maintains a positive pressure relative to the interchange compartment, which functions at a positive air pressure relative to the surrounding room. These two levels of protection minimize the risk of contamination entering the workspace.

What protocols do you have in place with people who have compromised immune systems or autoimmune disorders? At Drip Wellness, many of our clients have compromised immune systems due to cancer treatments, chronic autoimmune disorders, coronary artery disease, viral infections, and other health issues. That's why we place a strong emphasis on maintaining impeccable sterility and adhering to USP standards for sterile compounding in our infusion therapies. After administering thousands of infusions over the years, we're proud to say that we've never had an infectious complication at Drip Wellness. While there's always a risk of infection, it's extremely rare even for people with weakened immune systems. In fact, individuals with compromised immune systems often benefit greatly from our regular infusion-based support.
