New sterile needles, syringes, and administration supplies are used for every client.

Before receiving Initial treatment, clients complete a medical history, review informed consent documents, and have vital signs obtained as appropriate for the service being provided. Certain treatments may require laboratory testing, provider review, or additional medical clearance based on the client's health history and individual circumstances.

Water-soluble vitamins, such as vitamin C and the B vitamins, are not stored in large amounts by the body and excess amounts are generally excreted through the urine. However, that does not mean they are unimportant or ineffective.

Depending on your individual plan and circumstances, you may be able to use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for eligible services. We recommend checking with your plan administrator regarding coverage and reimbursement requirements.

For many clients, an initial vitamin C infusion of up to 10 grams is an appropriate starting dose. Before administering higher doses, a G6PD (Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase) screening may be recommended.

G6PD deficiency is a genetic condition that can increase the risk of complications when receiving high-dose intravenous vitamin C. Screening helps identify individuals who may not be appropriate candidates for higher doses and allows treatment decisions to be made safely.

Recommendations regarding vitamin C dosing are based on individual health history, laboratory results, provider guidance, and clinical judgment.
